While there’s probably some analytics leading SM apps/environs to migrate to streaming, IMO it’s a risky calculation to assume users will (a) migrate from mobile to couch (b) add the app to the eve lengthening row of app options (how it manifests on my LG) (c) prioritize its placement in said row. On the provider side of that is the assumption the revenue streams can be created and will support production of content. Can’t wait to watch Survivor - Substack Edition in which contestants reside together in an amalgam of shipping containers and vie against one another in posting challenges. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
