I have to tell you, it was my TikTok that got 5.4 million (?!) views about asking my husband about the Roman Empire, and it was TRULY WILD. I did not know this was a "trend" and it took over my life and inbox for literally two days. I had journalists asking me about "why I posted it," and I literally wanted to respond and be like, "This is so silly, please do not write a whole article about this, there are better things to spend your time doing." And then to see the conversation go weird, sexist places made it a true nightmare. Anyway, always love your essays. TikTok is rotting our brains! Haha.
