And what’s next for 2026
On a (briefly) earnest note, whether you’re a new Embedded subscriber or have been with us since 2021 (!!! if that’s you please say so!), thank you so much for reading. This was the year I really got to know the Embedded community better, despite how bewildered it still makes me to think about people actually reading this. Even so, I’ve never taken your support for granted. Thanks to you, I wake up every day in my dream career, and a job I didn’t even know could exist when I was a sixteen-year-old scrolling Tumblr at 3am on a school night. See, mom—it was just as important as homework. —Kate
